Considering the layoff and the fact that both teams had the same amount of points, anyone saying anything other than 50-50 is a homer or a crack addict.
Roll the dice. - Atomic Wedgie
I disagree. But not in a Roger way.
I think the Leafs are a lot better than Columbus but also that Columbus is a tough matchup for the Leafs. |

So the Leafs have an advantage!

.....aaaaaand that advantage is gone.
So...

Nah, I think the Leafs would win. Not should but would. Maybe I should've bolded the roll of the dice part.
Doesn't mean that I can't say that I think Columbus plays a style of hockey that the Leafs have troubles with. |

Just to let you know how behind in schedule we are, on May 21, 2019, St. Louis beat San Jose to advance to the Stanley Cup finals.
I know that every Tom, Richard and Harry has released theoretical playoff formats, but I'd love to see a theoretical playoff schedule. |

Clb is missing that top offensive threat too. No panarin this year, no bobrovsky.....leafs still have that top end talent with Matthews, Marner, Tavares and nylander...should be a good match up for the leafs to succeed |

I just checked the schedule:
We beat them 4-1 in Columbus on October 4 (2nd game of the Leafs' season).
They beat us 4-3 in OT in Toronto on October 21.
The rubber match was set for Saturday, March 21st in Toronto - the plan was that we would leave Vermont early that day and drive like a bat out of hell, so that I could attend the game with my brothers.
Gawd, that seems like a bajillion years ago. |

By my memory, the 4-1 win the Leafs were lucky to win (Freddy won the game for them) and the other game they actually deserved to win, but didn't.
These past 2 months felt like 4 years.
Bolded- Love me some Meatloaf. |

I agree. Plus, for the first time all season, Rielly should be healthy. |

they play a similar style to Boston. could be a good warm up for the Leafs. |

I don’t like our chances vs CLB.
They’ll do to the Leafs what they did to Tampa, but this time they have experience. Leafs don’t match up well vs a rugged Torts team. |

Most valuable to the Leafs imo.

First round and maybe whole playoffs are such a crapshoot. Nobody has any idea what these teams are going to look like when they start. That’s especially true of the Leafs who at times played like one of the best teams in the league and at others were the ultimate Leafs.
Are they hurt cause they’re inexperienced?
Does it help because they start strong and this might not be normal playoff hockey?
Is it all down to goalies?
I’m not buying any of these predictions |
