I do, but people like you who have nothing because you've accomplished sweet bugger all are taking valuable funds away from people that built this country and need it.

Get rid of all the guns. Did you miss the part where I said spend more money on controlling illegal trafficking? - 1970vintage
You caught me i stopped reading when you said you hope to see no more gun ownership.
If this gun ban is actually implemented it will just serve to point to the fact that black market guns are the problem because it will do very little to improve anyone's safety other than accidental shooting by law abiding citizens. |

Driving drunk is against the law, it's a criminal offence, owning a gun isn't. |

How long did you live there? What instances made you feel unsafe? What are the numbers of gun related deaths in Washington State compared to Canada? - Pacificgem
Never lived there, but my brother did so i would visit. My dad is american, so i spent a good deal of time down there. The casualness of gun use, ownership and culture is just unnerving to me. In washington there was just over 800 gun related deaths last year(CDC), in BC there was around 45(much harder to find the stats). Why would i compare a state to a country when i was comparing Washington to BC... sounds like a bit of a red herring! Also, there was 10 in Vancouver, should we do a comparison to Seattle? |

Unfortunately when they are doing drive by shootings they are not paper targets. - VANTEL
Who is doing drive by shootings and what guns are they using? Not the people allowed to have guns or using legal guns in the vast majority of shootings in canada.

You'd have to find that post or you're just lying. I was paid in local currency in the Middle East and transferred my money back to America, always. |

Wow quite the difference huh, I was thinking our population is so small but there are roughly 7.5 million people in Washington to roughly 4 million in BC.
That said, I've lived in the USA for many years, yes their culture is different than ours regarding guns, it's in their constitution so they have a legal right whereas we don't. I've never felt unsafe there, but I'm not usually in the spots where the crimes take place and I'm not in the drug or gang culture where the majority of the offenses happen. |

That night when I argued with you about cheating the tax system by not paying you came back to me with a counter post about you have paid more in other years than I will ever pay in taxes.
I am sure one or two posters remember that discussion. |

North America dumb twat, Canada happens to be in America. I transferred money back to Canada and the USA, as I have places in both countries.
Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin taught me everything I know
In addition to the Queen, three former Canadian prime ministers have connections to the offshore world that show up in the Paradise Papers:
• Paul Martin's former shipping empire Canada Steamship Lines — now run by his sons — is one of Appleby's "biggest clients," according to a document in the leak. Martin offered no comment and CSL said it complies with all laws and regulations wherever it operates.
• Brian Mulroney was on the board of Said Holdings, run by Syrian-born billionaire Wafic Said, who helped broker the biggest arms deal in British history. Through a lawyer, Mulroney said he considers Said "a good friend" and is "proud" to have served the company.
• Jean Chrétien lobbied for an East African oil venture called Madagascar Oil. A register of the company's investors lists him as the recipient of 100,000 stock options, but Chrétien told CBC/Radio-Canada he never got, or even heard of, any such options. He confirmed he did briefly do some consulting for the company, and his law firm at the time, Heenan Blaikie, was paid for his work. |
