Haven't played yet this week yet but have a few things to iron out. Striking not good on the back 9 last game and I'm bouncing back and forth on two different drivers right now. Just need to hit the range. So far first three rounds are 80-79-82 so not bad but I'm missing many putts for birdie inside of 10-15 feet need to work on it.

I switched to the Titleist AVX ball too from the Callaway X so it's a lower spin ball with a mid flight path/trajectory. Off the tee it's stellar but not sure with irons and putting yet. Might play this weekend but it's supposed to be sh!tty weather here this weekend so we'll see.

I'm taking the week off, I was getting frustrated around the greens with my short game so I decided to practice for a week instead. I was using a Callaway Chrome Soft ball but just bought four dozen Titleist ProV1x's, high flight ball with good control around the greens.

My ball striking is just ok, never really an issue for me, I use the Bridgestone J15 MB irons, beautiful blades

Maybe he's onto something (Vantel as well), toughness does equal more wins, Sabres are a bunch of pussies....Trump that

Nice irons hitting blades is tough have to be a good striker. Good for you.

I got fit for Mizuno MP5 musclebacks three seasons back and my proximity to the pin has increased greatly. just need to start making those putts lol. My goal this year is to shoot the 75. Came close last year but need to clean a few things up. Had a few rounds at 77-78-79 last season but only playing and practising once per week it's tough to get the handicap down. Is what it is. I love the game so much I'm happy but there is always room to improve at golf.
