I think I was too young and unfortunately missed that golden era
- Pat1993

All you need to know is that apparently Tom Chorske was a better pick than Joe Nieuwendyk

So he had 10 assists a year on empty net goals?
- Takemedrunkimhome

He had 35 assists on Pacioretty goals, does it really matter how those goals we're scored?

Habs did use Chorske in bringing Muller to Montreal and Gilchrist in the Damphouse trade so it worked out alright

Hains: 10 Years Ago Today...

10 years ago the Habs made a choice and while many were upset with it back then, turns out they were right in hindsight...

Was mostly a joke about Patches EN goals, but suffice it to say Desharnais and Eller were not put in equal opportunities to produce offense

Price had to keep this team afloat on his own, but what if we had traded him and kept Halak instead? Price would have fetched a huge return and, most likely, we wouldn't have needed a stellar goalie at this point, an average one would have been fine. So I still think this decision was wrong as we all put our eggs in Price's basket instead of spreading the talent around the offense and defence.

Well if hindsight has told us anything today, they'd have the same amount of cups with Halak in goal..

That was a super easy playoffs victory for the Flyers. Montreal rolled over.

not 100% sure about how "huge" this return would've been...

And miss out on the era of greatness ushered in by Price?

Honestly we all remember the Roy wink, Theodore's behind the back save agaisnt Boston, Halak's insane series agaisnt Was and Pitts.

There is not one single highpoint of Price that I remember except he got really fat in his rookie year, chill out it's only pre-season, and it's hard to do christmass shopping. That's his legacy
