Great, all 2020 needed was the Price-Halak debate

What do you think the Habs could fetch for Halak, Ryder and a 2nd? Hear me out as I think it's a fresh trade proposal

What would the return for Price had been 10 years ago?

Obscene most likely...but I will point out that prior to his current contract very few had legit issues with Price

He scored a cup winning goal.

What more could you want. Well, that he scored it for the Habs, I guess.

People love to poop all over Eller, but he is a good player. However, on a team desperate for a true #1 center for 30 years, I guess he would never be good enough.

I liked Eller. The problem with him is that he pouted as a 3rd line center with the Habs, but he accepted his role with Washington.

You'd pout too sitting behind David Desharnais

well if by any stretch of the imagination someone was considering him to be a #1 center I think they were setting up themselves for disappointment.

He's a depth player. Dsp scored a big goal in that final as well. He's no longer playing in this league.

Yeah, Eller might be better but he's still just a depth guy.

1st rounder and a roster player. Like Varlamov, Schneider, Luongo, Andersen, Grubauer etc.

Goalies are always worth more to the team than they are in trades...which is weird...because they are technically the most important position.

Well, I think Desharnais had more skill than Eller.

Managed to have two 50+ pts seasons while being 5'7''

Eller was given numerous opportunities but never cracked the 30 pts plateau.

So he had 10 assists a year on empty net goals?
