I'm sure Bries or Rafferty can do what Stetcher does at 1/3 the cost. Can see that for next year, but I think those two can grow into bigger roles on the team.

I can see Rafferty having a shot with a solid vet beside him.
But i don't know about replacing Stetcher (despite all those unlucky bounces off his face he takes )

I definitely don't see 2 of those prospects forming a pairing together.

You sort of feel for him but it was definitely was a poor choice .

Ya.
Obviously some drama going on behind the scenes there, but I sure don't agree with using kids as pawns to garner sympathy or negotiate with ex's.

Stecher has heart and wants to be here but that is where it ends. He is a smaller guy that loses battles and has very little offence. His shot is not great at all and his passing is average.

Up the mighty Blues!

I was saying, i'm going to have to get into rugby here and check out some games this year in person.

Also looking forward to Breakers basketball.

My Son in-law is a fan of the Phoenix, he's got 1 of those ugly green banners in his man cave.

Agreed.
I'll counter with
Pretty good skater, positionally sound and uses his stick well.
Good all rounder.

Just heard the Jays won’t be able to play their home games in Toronto. What are we going to do without Canada’s team in Canada?

I have never been much of a fan of Stecher in his earlier years, but that was primarily because he was playing way too many minutes and up against much better opposition.

Last year he had his minutes and competition reduced and it showed, he was more confident and able to play a better transitional game.

That said, I would rather see what Joulevi has to offer, than re-sign Stecher.

In everyone’s discussions Joulevi is past over for Rafferty, Brisboise or Saunter...I would like to see Joulevi given an opportunity.

Agreed. 💯
Joe Levi still has higher potential in my opinion.

Rafferty is leading the RHD. Woo is early on in his development. I’ve OJ battling Rathbone for LHD.

Canucks win the cup with the least number of infections and Dr. Bonnie Henry wins the Conn Smythe.
