1st two lines should definitely stay the same, barring an injury or someone just playing like dog poop(i'm looking at you magnet boy).

Would like to see Gauthier maybe moved around a little. Kid has some crazy wheels and good hands.

Could see Gauthier on the third line at some point. Don’t mind starting with PDG there.

Now the big question. Who starts at goal?

Love Zibs mindset. They aren’t (frank)ing around, theyre there to win it all

Rangers vs Avs, my prediction. I don’t think they can beat the Avs tho

I can’t believe it’s even a discussion. I’ll be flat out stunned, and angry lol, if Shesty doesn’t start game 1. Unless injury of course. Maybe if he bombs in game one they go to Hank in game 2. My last vision of Hank is flailing around the crease vs Philly, and looked finished that game

Artemi Panarin a finalist for the Ted Lindsay Award with Leon Draisaitl and Nathan MacKinnon. Let's see if that's also the case for the Hart Trophy.

Agreed.
Shesty is our guy. This is not the time or place for warm sentiment. This is the NHL playoffs. We have our thoroughbred --- time to let him run!

Why? If one goalie looks like crap during the mini camp you aren't going to start him.

Why wouldn't Quinn look at all 3 goalies and how they are playing?

I think Kreids has the better stamina, but some plays last year Gauthier looked like he was wily coyote with a rocket up his ass

So if Shesty has a crap camp, you start him? Thats seems like a bad strategy.

Thats as bad as starting Hank for sentiment

Kreider is also 29, not sure he will reach that explosiveness he had from age like 22-26

I think he actually has been better the last couple years Maybe not the 1st step speed but overall speed around the ice.

Shesty doesn’t lose many hockey games. That’s enough for me he could give up 10 goals in practice today, and I’d still start him game one

I have zero confidence in Hank. Sorry brah

Like I said, Start Shesty game one and go from there. The team had so much confidence when Shesty was in if you remember. When Hank was in his last few starts, they looked awful

Like Tommy said, the Hank era is over. It’s time to move on and that starts this playoffs imo🤷🏻‍♂️

Hard to believe they’d have Kravtsov fly back if he didn’t have realistic chance of getting in lineup. Kreider jumped straight from college into playoffs. Would love to see Kravtsov winning a 3rd line spot over DeGuissepe.

This is about WINNING.
Obviously, if Shesty has a terrible camp you re-evaluate. However, outside of that or an injury, Shesty is THE guy. There can't be ANY doubt of that. FACT: the team played better in front of Shesty too. His ability to stick handle and pass the puck is a true weapon that can make the difference in a short series. Thats it. You play your best guys. Camp is to determine who backs up Shesty...

Well not one of my posts said anything about Hank. Georgie could have an amazing camp.

Call me crazy but I go with the goalie that looks the best, not the one who gave me a bonah a couple months ago.

It’s almost sad reading Hanks interview comments. I understand it was harder to play well when used sparingly. But, his numbers weren’t much better last year when he was still #1. It’s over. When save % is barely over .900 And GAA is over 3, it’s hard to see how you start over 2 guys with better numbers. You’re all playing behind same defense so that’s not an excuse. In a short series, there’s no way you don’t play Shesty game 1. Hopefully, Hank agrees to terminate contract when seasons over. Have to accept that you just don’t have it anymore.
