if he can get him under a good contract, he should 100% try and bring him back. I think hes quite underrated, not quite as much as what the hotstove bloggers think, but I genuinely think hes a good bottom 6 player.

I think his contract should be fairly low no matter where he plays. I think he will walk though. We have too many forwards.

So todays discussion (for lack of a better word) on Twitter is the press should not be allowed to go to the practices.

First of all I will say hockey can not get here fast enough.

Secondly ,it is 12 people let into an arena that seats 18 000 people . Social distancing may not be over crowded.

Thirdly , if media did not go there and tell us Jake stinks , what would the knuckleheads find to argue about for two weeks.

Not a jab at you whatsoever, but I honestly felt like I wasted time reading that. That "expert" is using peak numbers when there was little to no preventative measures or lockdowns vs now, when they have been able to bed the curve, and hes making up some theory without any fact that it would disappear completely without a vaccine.

I get that we all want this to go away, and sooner the better, and I admire your optimism, I just dont see that "experts" level as being rational.

I however am optimistic because modern medicine is a lovely thing. The vaccine clinical testing is yielding tremendous antibody responses. Long term affects and mass production will be the next hurdles but I trust they will get a good vaccine done before summer 2021 and hopefully be made available to the public by 2022

Seeing him dismiss and mock an expert and avoid my question about what he thinks or knows about the claim about the severity of the illness in elderly people in Italy in recent weeks but I'll just assume the projecting and "you can believe what you want" narrative was an indication he knows nothing of it. Its not a big deal to admit that. It is hypocritical of him to dismiss experts without consideration though.
