I hope Lind makes the cut for Edmonton. Who's on the outside after this scrimmage game? |

Toffoli, Pettersson, Beagle, Hughes, Lind, Motte, Miller, Fantenberg, Chatfield, Virtanen, Sutter, Eriksson, Tanev, Brisebois, Markstrom, Pearson, Boeser, MacEwen, Roussel, Ferland, Graovac, Horvat, Gaudette, Juolevi, Stecher, Myers, Edler, Sautner, Rafferty, Bailey, Demko, Benn, Mikey D, Domingue.
Guessing those three? Carol said in her blog the Canucks are carrying 34, need to get to 31. |

Actually Podz skating needs to improve. You should google those videos of his skills on display before labeling him a grinder. - NuckUp
I saw the video you described. Big deal. He was doing a drill like the rest of the team. You saw a clip of his turn. I saw the reach around goal. Nice little goal in a drill but lets not get carried away. That is a common enough kind of goal and it wasnt in a game or scrummage or anything.
I saw that video and dozens of dozens of others over the last year and a half. You are picking the wrong person to imply ignorance.
Podkolzins skating is pretty good now. Its improved since the old scouting reports you must be stuck on. |

Tuesday lines at #Canucks Camp:
Pearson-Pettersson-Boeser
Roussel-Horvat-MacEwen
Miller-Gaudette-Toffoli
Ferland-Beagle-Motte
Hughes-Tanev
Edler-Myers
Fantenberg-Stecher
Juolevi-Chatfield
Extras: Virtanen, Sutter, Eriksson
Green just toying with lines or is a Bo a shutdown line & Gaudette gets a crazy opportunity? - Nighthawk
Heard on 650(a dl of yesterdays show) that Green had a Captain moment with Bo letting him know they may need him in that role when games start.
1 scoring line, 3 D lines. Green's signature. Oh, there I go with the hyperbole again.

Good guess. Below has mostly been the second group. I think Brisebois has step up on Sautner from all the reports and being named best Utica defenseman. Lind's got to be beat out Graovac that's got NHL time. Bailey has no chance with Ferland, ZacMac and JV above him.
second group: Graovac, Lind, Bailey, Rafferty, Sautner, Brisebois (Birthday Boy Brise), DiPietro (G) and Domingue (G) |

Well guess you disagree with the scouting reports on his skill sets. Yes Podz still needs to improve his skating but that's not uncommon for young players that are not elite skaters. Though he's NHL ready from all reports. |

He’s physically ready there is no doubt. In the KHL rookies don’t get much ice time. I don’t put any stock into his stats with him being used like a yoyo all last season being bounced from league to league. His playmaking looked ok. He’s a north/south bull. His shot is solid. Overall looks to be a complimentary winger which isn’t taking anything away from him. 100% every shift & a 200’ player he is a definitely no fun to play against. I like him with Bo eventually once he gets acclimatized & used to a different culture language & all. |

Yes. Maybe eventually even with Petey taking over Miller's role when they all hit prime years. As far as forwards in draft groups for prime years Petey BB and Podz would be your top 3 and perhaps a good line. That's just a trajectory musing. Unlike wishful thinking like the Canucks winning the lotto if they lose to the Wild. |

I’m not sure you understand this teams window. It’s the next 1-4 years. 3 of those will have Miller |

Thank you Carol, I appreciate your daily (mostly) takes. Glad to hear that Greener is finally warming to Joe Levi. Bold prediction, he will be the most productive defenseman from his draft class by the time everyone’s careers are over.
Jake will also silence the haters, he’s a better player than anyone currently slotted into line 4. He will be there when the puck drops in the City of Champions. |

Which one was the scoring line...
They were crap lines, all 4.
As much as I am not a Green fan, but for people to be looking at scrimmage rosters as set lines is mind boggling. He is seeing different players in different scenarios, as he should. |

Why do you think Pod is bottom 6? From everything I've read, he's a solid top 6 winger to be. - NewYorkNuck

That was just a trajectory musing. I added that note before seeing your post. Though on windows agree the limit with Miller and TT in prime years now. Adding guys like Podz, Hogz would be complimentary to that age group.
Though when those forwards along with Petey and BB hit their prime they can have another window especially to an improved D with QH also so young. |

I especially liked that it was (I forget the exact wording, but...) “a lot” of hyperbole, like if an over exaggeration can be over exaggerated. |

Lol, who’s the one taking alternate mind altering substances? The one on his deck in Victoria, with 4 new cases in the last month (hyperbole) or the one in a Russian palace in Toronto, where there has just been a spike of 10,000 (hyperbole again) new cases in the last week? |
