Thank you Carol, I appreciate your daily (mostly) takes. Glad to hear that Greener is finally warming to Joe Levi. Bold prediction, he will be the most productive defenseman from his draft class by the time everyone’s careers are over.
Jake will also silence the haters, he’s a better player than anyone currently slotted into line 4. He will be there when the puck drops in the City of Champions. - 1970vintage
If I may be so bold as to offer a retort to your bold predictions.
1. No, he won't. Let him make the NHL and crack the top 4 of an average D corps first.
2. Impossible. There are too many haters to silence. If guys like Crosby and McDavid can't, what sort of superpower do you think Jake possesses that makes you think he can? |

Lol, who’s the one taking alternate mind altering substances? The one on his deck in Victoria, with 4 new cases in the last month (hyperbole) or the one in a Russian palace in Toronto, where there has just been a spike of 10,000 (hyperbole again) new cases in the last week? - 1970vintage

Which one was the scoring line...
They were crap lines, all 4.
As much as I am not a Green fan, but for people to be looking at scrimmage rosters as set lines is mind boggling. He is seeing different players in different scenarios, as he should. - Makita
My guess what Green will settle on when puck drops against a D first dump and chase Wild system:
Miller Petey BB - top scoring
Pearson Bo TT - Heavy two way scoring
Ferland Gaudette JV - (if Healthy & ready) - Pounding two way scoring
Rousell Beagle ZacMac - Energy and tough that can score line.
Hughes Tanev - dynamic duo
Edler Myers - solid puck moving and strength to pound and move bodies
OJ Stecher - OJ PK IQ plus puck moving. Stecher counter retrieval on dump in |

Fist of all, shut up. Secondly, also, shut up. Finally, phase one - draft Jo Levi, phase 3 - Stanley Cup. |

Yes, but I’m not in Vancouver you idiot, I’m in paradise in Victoria, where Covid is someone else’s problem. |

If I knew how to share a photo of my view right now I would, but I’m either too stupid or too drunk to figure it out. You decide. |

I’m not sure you understand this teams window. It’s the next 1-4 years. 3 of those will have Miller - CanuckDon
I call BS. With good drafting and solid cap management the window could be open for quite awhile. |

The window theory is the most absurd hockey theory I can think of. Only terrible GM’s create a window of opportunity that spans 3 years. |

No, I just need to know if I should confirm my Visa number and proceed to checking out the 10000 "Vancouver Canucks 2020 Stanley Cup Champions" Covid masks I'm ordering from China. |

If you do it right there might be down years as new players come in but you still have a playoff team. The good years you're contending. |

I've yet to see the solid cap management. Hopefully the prospects (and young players) step up to solidify the drafting record.
I just don't buy that if it's done right a young team has a 4 year window. |
