Malkin looks great, but man this worries me as a game they’ll outshoot them 39 to 18 and lose 3 1 - stayinthefnnet
Looks like Montreal weathered the storm and it's been even. They're not a team that gets blitzed, just can't score and Price is generally just average of late. |

I know it’s the dead horse, but in a small sample size like this, you truly can’t have murray and jack up to their usual poop. It’s just murder. |

They've used Letang up top, Malkin on the RW boards, Sid in the slot, and Hornqvist in front for years. They're among the beat on those spots. I know they lost Kessel, but why move all the other guys around? |

Murray faced 6 shots. Looked good on none of them. I'm freaked every time they shoot. |

Jack Johnson looked very sloppy out there. Horrible puck skills and looks lost. Blame him on that goal crashing into our own guy. |

Can’t just shoot and watch. Go to the net and bang. Screen, play dirty. It’s the playoffs. This is 100% better than last years start but it’s still so timid. Women’s hockey has more ballz.

This game could give us Jarry for good. We can’t afford bad goaltending in a best of 5. |

It’s sad. And when Jack is out there it’s just bad. Pens are going to routinely drop 40 shots on them, none of the dirty, high quality variety, but eventually the odd one will get through. But jack simply being on the ice is a high danger chance for the habs. (frank)ing sucks because you have Malkin Crosby and letang all healthy. Perhaps the best complimentary pieces in guentzel and zucker and rust and McCann. Everything is loaded. Marino is huge. And yet the same two cogs will be able to have an absolutely inordinate influence the other way |

Exactly. Get Hornie on the top line and throw it on net. His game is exactly what they need and yet the only player with less TOI was Marleau. |

Yes but I’d say it was more of the Pitt defenders running into each other to allow Kotkaniemi to get in front |

Yeah. I definitely want Jarry in net, but you really can't fault Murray on this. His own defense didn't give him a chance on this. JJ sent him in the net clearing the way for that flukey goal. |

That was actually also JJ running into ZAR to start the breakdown. He was all over that play. |

Dom's analytics preview had the Pens a 64% favorite. He said 2 moves would improve their odds by 3% EACH: bench JJ and Jarry in for Murray. |

Sheary is basically a no show as well. Invisible except for the odd time I see him fall down when Sid tries to pass to him |
