I’m not mr old time hockey let em play, but that’s what happens in the front though. Theyve had six pps and a PS. They’ve been calling it tight both ways overall.
Just an abysmal powerplay - stayinthefnnet
Yeah, I'm not complaining about the cross-checks at all because that's accepted in front of the net. I'm just saying against a small finesse guy like Guentzel probably has both a physical and psychological affect on him. Horny just says bring it on. |

Ive never been as anti sheary as eveyone, but hornqvist needs to be on the first line.
Murray needs to be face down in a pool |

A wasted year of what? The last two or three of Crosby and Malkin being Crosby and Malkin, with the same two or three people able to sink the roster |

I'm not at all worried about losing this series. Playoffs are a crapshoot, and if we do, 12.5% chance at 1st overall
It's the next round that sucks. To lose in that and it be all for nothing |

So do you think Laferriere will skate with Sid, Geno or maybe even start out on the third line? |

When your PP is that bad, you don't deserve to win. Just like putting a bum like Sheary and his 2 goals in his last 35 playoff games on the top line. |

So did you put an extra $2K on the Pens after the initial $2K? |

Obviously Sid first haha
It’s not over. I like Sid and guentzel. Malkin’s line looked good, he just needs a new stick next game. |

1975 vs Malkins 3 Rings. You win. |

I did.
This is unacceptable.
Sheary might as well have thrown the puck in the stands instead of taking the PS.
But malkin was the real killer for pitts...horrible passing on the PP...just 0 effort to check and force turnovers.
Crosby is surrounded by losers! |

I agree. Sheary is a decent third line regular season player. That's his ceiling.
But combine JJ and Murray and this is what you get. How Sully doesn't see this is beyond me. And I'm starting to think there's some nepotism with Sheary on the top line. Finally, if Recchi can't figure out the PP, he needs to go. |

I don't know what you have against Malkin but he was far from the worst player for the Pens in this one. |

He's worse in his own zone than the O zone. I knew this would happen. I can guarantee you Kahun would have scored on one of those chances. |

Old adage...best players have to be your best...or you will probably lose.
Probably became definitely tonight. Just refused to move his legs. Super lazy.
Time for sully to go all midieval on his ass.
Deserves it.
Unacceptable...montreal is complete sht!!! |

Where was that dominant 2nd line?
Geno has to be waaay better. If you’re gonna shoot on a 5-3 you better hit the net. Sheary is not a first line player.
Gonna give Jake a pass because he’s missed a ton of time.

Their PP has been dog poop since Kessel was traded. They haven't been able to replace him. 1 for 7 is what sunk them this game. |

There were a lot of times where both Penguins defensemen skated behind the net to chase the puck. Sometimes it left a guy wide open in front of the net. I think on the winner, both Schultz and Johnson were chasing the puck in the corner and couldnt get back.
A lot of ugly tonight. Sid was flying. Malkin had some good and bad moments. Kinda like a whatever game. |

Too bad they wasted their whatever game against the Flyers. |
