I doubt it. I'm sure there would be a lot of yapping, but no one would toss fists. They're professionals, and something like that would be a HUGE black eye for the league, their team, and they'd clearly get a big suspension... and could face criminal charges if they were pressed/if they just jumped him? - NewYorkNuck
I dunno, hockey guys have never been shy about throwing in public. Barn fight anyone? I’m not saying premeditated, but guys in a hotel hall, outside the dining room, whatever. As the playoffs progress, there’s going to be some hate building.

I'd be willing to bet if certain players run into each other there would be some chatter back and fourth. Probably no fistacuffs but definitely trying to get in one head.
I had it on all day yesterday but on mute with tunes cranked. Was inside & outside through the day. 27C, so perfect afternoon beer weather. Had the ribs slow cooking in the oven while back and forth from the woodpile.
A little gardening and mow the lawn before the Columbus-Toronto game (GO Blue Jackets!!). Mrs. Marwood has loaded the beer drawer with Pabst Blue Ribbon, a simple beer. Filling the bowl of my new water bong with either Scout Master or Girl Guide Cookies. It's been a good BC Day long weekend!
Also, found out my back surgery is next week, Aug. 12. Scared & excited. - Marwood
Hey Lefty, on my way home today I passed a fat guy driving a Toyota, towing a boat, eating a hotdog, was that you?
Winky face
Also, 1-0 Flyers (thumbsup) - 1970vintage
Flyers look good, quick foot speed and sharp passes...I like it. I golfed this morning at 7:40am and our boat is in its slip in the water, only trailer it a few times a year.

I know you know I was kidding, just trying to support the narratives.
This game is a bit of a snoozer. It’s like they know it doesn’t really matter.

Isn’t it awesome! For decades the east coast wildlife was decimated due to over fishing and commercialization of resources. Now that the industry has been reduced considerably you’re seeing that food web return; from fish to seals to top predators. I think warming water also has something to do with it by expanding the sharks northern territory. Even Nfld are getting sightings.
Here’s a awesome site if you want to see shark distribution on east coast Canada.
Pretty tame game, nobody wants to get hurt when you’re already in the round of 16. - Pacificgem
Yeah the hitting is low in Blues and Avs too they are checking and skating to win still good hockey not playoff type. So who emerges from the play-in rounds will either be damaged like the Jets or battle scared to ram it to the 8 in tournament mode. That's the real thingy everything else is hard hockey.
