Kadri is a very good NHL centerman
They got back a horrible D and a medicore 3rd line C
The horrible D is now gone

So you'd rather have the mediocre 3rd line C and a late 1st
over Kadri?

On this team kadri is a 3rd line c.

His stats on the leafs as a3c compare very well with kerfoot who is younger and cheaper. I'd rather have kadri, but they got younger and cheaper.

The leafs didn't have to trade a 1st if they didn't make a horrible signing.

If you can't see what's worse you may as well take up bowling.

They dominated every aspect of the game tonight with the exception of goaltending.

OK, this is not a trolling attempt. Tavares is a great offensive player, but he's always sucked on the defensive side. Many of us were frustrated over the years with his play for the Islanders in his own zone.

Yup, behaving like that is just asking for it.

I always gave Andersen the benefit of the doubt because our D is so sh1te...but he let in a soft goal tonight. And he tends to do that every fu2king night we need a save and a win.

I would lose, in this order:

Nylander
Tavares, give the C to Matthews....who should've had it in the first place.
Andersen...if there is no better replacement for him in the market then sign him cheap, play Campbell more and use Tavares and Nylander to upgrade the D.

If Dubas can't do it or doesn't recognize what this team needs....drop his a$$ too....maybe he should go first.

Barrie at 50% retained seemed like a decent gamble. Why not bring on board one of the best offensive D-men in the league to a team that is already high octane?

The gamble clearly didn't pay off. Oh wellz...

The Kerfoot contact is bothersome as there's too much term and he's paid about 1M more than he should be. Oh wellz...

Kadri had to be moved for a D man and Dubas didn't get his first choice (Brodie).

Hindsight and all that... whatcha gonna do?
