OK, this is not a trolling attempt. Tavares is a great offensive player, but he's always sucked on the defensive side. Many of us were frustrated over the years with his play for the Islanders in his own zone. - JohnScammo
I disliked the Tavares signing from minute one. It was a horrible mistake that is now compunded by the flat cap.
I don't really blame him for this though.

Yay
Let's hope dubas really gets fired - because if not, that second will change in a 3rd and 5th really quickly |

Says the guy who's determined opinions on a GMs hockey moves defines intellect. Right after you go (frank) yourself you should get one of those cognitive tests... đź–• |

Taveres is one of the only Leafs that gives it his all every night. You can tell he cares. He gets my respect for sure. |

On this team kadri is a 3rd line c.
His stats on the leafs as a3c compare very well with kerfoot who is younger and cheaper. I'd rather have kadri, but they got younger and cheaper.
The leafs didn't have to trade a 1st if they didn't make a horrible signing.
If you can't see what's worse you may as well take up bowling. - burn
Dubas's moves going into this season didn't work. Its that simple. The Barrie-Kerfoot for Kadri trade, as well as bringing in Ceci - these moves caused this team to take a step back this year. Younger and cheaper? Who (frank)ing cares.
What about winning? |

Right, Roger, and your team is in great shape, paying all that money to players who can't even get you into the playoffs. |

it is funny that the isles have done better without jt then the leafs with jt.
Weird - Fakepartofme
I actually wish he’d have stayed w isles. I think he and Barzal could have had a great run together offsetting best d matchups. I think Trot impact on our roster is far more impactful than losing or keeping JT. We have a team first mentality under Trotz that helps our guys succeed. Honestly, I wish you guys well. I’m just messing around from the heat we took whe JT left. Peace. |

Dermott actually played really well tonight. - MaximusAurelius
Did he? He was invisible and is an offensive black hole.
Dermott continues to be the recipient of being the Least poopty D-man Not Named Rielly Award.
He's mediocre AF. |

The trading of the 1st was Dubas decision no one forced him to do that
Kadri trade was also his decision....
I'm not really sure where your train of thought is on this |
