It's (frank)ing insane that the Leafs, Oilers and Pens all have a shot at him.

I'm kinda cheering for the Jets to win it, since it was their pick.

I hope to never see marincin, ceci, barrie or holl in a leafs uni.

I thought holl was ok at times and bad at others, but keefe plays him too much.

Definitely a third pairing guy. But you can't play Reilly 50 minutes a game.

Defense needs serious upgrades. Once that happens, Holl can slot into the bottom pairing where he belongs.

Because Freddy had a .936 sv% in these 5 games.

I dont get why Leafs fans would want to move on from him. Doesn't seem like there's another guy ready to take over. He played 60 out of 70 games this year

He feels the brunt of leafs anger.
Freddy played well this series, unfortunately the leafs usually need freddy to stand on his head most games in order for them to win.
Freddy didnt lose the game last night.
The forwards did, got shut out again.
Freddy does have a record of letting in soft goals in big games, but the leafs couldn't score a goal. And for the past 3 years the kool-aid drinkers have all said the leafs would outscore their problems.
They cant.

it gets tiresome, you have the same few fans that you almost never see posting here..then boom! Leafs lost...they have all the time in the world

like the caps..who were called chokers and just an offensive team...it may take lots if tweaks and tries

if holl is the guy you move up to replace your best D or 1B D then you have issues.

Not sure what was wrong with Kap last night but he was terrible. Marner just looks timid out there during these play downs. Barrie and Miracillin are flat out terrible at hockey.

I would move Marner for the right pieces. Kap and Johnson can both go. Freddy is not a bad tender, but not the elite guy we hoped. He may be ok with better team D around him.

There will be changes for sure.

to me they look pretty beatable, they do not have much offence at all...they need thier goalies to stand on thier head to win.

Holding the Leafs to 2% shooting at 5v5 is crazy. And it wasnt all low % shots from 100 feet out...except for Barrie....

Freddy was really good, not going to put anything on him...but korp/elvis was better

oh well..make some decent changes...try again next year

Ya ultimately that lack of finish is the difference.

10 goals in 5 games. Of which only 3 are regular 5 v 5 goals.

CLB game plan looked to be fill the crease and let the soft shooting Leafs D take shots.

lets wait more than one 5 game play in round before we say who is built to win in the "playoffs"

Holl is not "fine". He is not mobile enough to be a regular NHL dman. He should be a press box guy, watching most games from up there instead of repeatedly getting beaten with speed.

I've been beating the "sign Pietrangelo if we can" drum for a while.

Then Marner has to be traded for a package to make the money work. Add another defenseman with the assets from the Marner deal to play with Muzzin and the defense will look much better.

Kap/Kerfoot were a disappointment all series. They need to contribute at least a goal or something in a five game series.

Well, guy has been handed the keys to the kingdom. Endless talent available. Yet he has failed to realize that the NHL playoffs requires you to put your big boy pants on. It ain’t the AHL and it is not the ‘new’ nhl. It is a war. It always has been and always will be. You cant have guys not pulling their weight like Nylander, Andersen, etc...
