I always love that when the dopes get it wrong they blame it on "trap hockey". It's called Defense... Team Defense. It's been around since Al Arbour brought it to Long Island in the 70's. Teams that play team defense well and are well coached are always called "trap Defense" teams unless they have a super star on their team. .. so dumb.

Caps played same way Isles playing now when they went on their run 2 years ago. Not a peep about "boring trap hockey" .. Anyone who has watched these games would never call them boring. Isles have scored 24 goals in 7 games so far.. that is 3 or more a game even if u take out the EN goals.

Compare that to Toronto who got shut out twice and scored 10 in 5 games. .. very exciting 2 goals a game. rivetting...

a few things about this whole Playoff bubble stuff is .. besides it saving me a fortune on tickets.. it's pretty fantastic having playoff hockey on almost 24/7. I am watching Waaaay more teams I would normally not bother watching. It's friggin Fantastic.

On any other PO team, he isn't centering the #1 line (and Pags isn't centering Koma and Brass type players). People scratch their heads and wonder why they aren't producing the way they should. Let him center the 3rd line while he learns how to win a FO and how to glue a line together.

Barazl will get there, but he's really hurting Lee's and Ebs production. What is he, 38% on FO's? That's nowhere near good enough for a scoring line.
