This power play is attrocious. If the ultimate goal is to get Pulock space for a one-timer, they need to move him more. An maybe on occasion when Bailey has all that time down low, he should throw one at the net for a rebound. The Caps are keeping only one dman low

Imagine our PP did anything? It’d be at least 3-0 right now. Still, we look fantastic otherwise.

I wonder if the defensemen can teach Barzal how to get the puck to Lee when he's plated at the paint?

I'm probably asking too much of the leagues #1 centerman.

This may sound strange, but I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing Brassard be that guy.

The story this series has continues to be that 5x5 the Isles appear to be the superior puck posession team by far. That said, todays games can be win and lost on special teams and that pp is doing nothing to help us. You get the feeling that one isles penalty could turn this game in the wrong direction

He’d be the NHL’s #1 winger though.

All shat talking aside, yes, I do agree with you concerning Barzal’s inability to maximize Lee’s strengths.

Yup, and you know at some point the refs will look to "even things up" by awarding power plays to the Caps. This is where it becomes vital for the Isles to stay disciplined and not be goaded into bad penalties.
