Thing McJesus has the the others don’t is his size. Scary fast for a big guy. Sid was the best before him. Barzal is probably the best edge guy in the league giving him unbelievable change of direction as you said.

It's crazy how he makes those turns at speed. The guy can do a 180 degree turn in three feet and still come out of it with momentum.

To me nobody skates with the puck faster then McDavid with McKinnon being a close second, and barzal coming in third. Those two guys are insane no disrespect to Barzal who has elite speed also. I wish I caught more western conference games just to watch them.

We’re probably saying the same thing but he has a speed burst that is just beyond even the best skating defenders. Barzal has a gear AND can change direction which the others can’t at his level imo.

No one even close to his ability to change direction. McD is flat out fast and no one can catch him when he pulls ahead.

Yeah I don’t think there’s anyone better in the league then Barzal when it comes to that. Gaudreau is pretty good also but not nearly as good as Barzal.

Flyers were hot at end of season. many of their big guns havent woken yet, which is scary. isle D may need to be perfect along with var because the offense often has big trouble with defensive teams

The Habs scored a lot of goals on the Flyers in their series. One game was 5-0 if I remember correctly. The Habs weren’t exactly an offensive dynamo in the league.
In the series The Habs scores 13 goals and The Flyers scored 11 which is -2 GF vs GA which isn’t exactly a strong defensive showing.

I think that’s reasonable unless we go even further in the playoffs and he finds another gear which could potentially give his agent more negotiating leverage...

imo someone offers him LT 9 to 10 mil and lou will have to match barzy is young and driven to be the best. he has a lot more in him and has huge potential to do that

Should have been a slam dunk to pay Barry. Barry has done nothing but win everywhere.

Reirden fired. They thought he was the better coach and didn’t negotiate with Barry and Lou scooped him up. The GM of the Caps should be fired for that mistake.
