Larson & Kassian for Huberdeau says he more than drunk, sounds more like he found some mushrooms growing out in the pasture.

Tallon was GM when the first four were drafted. FL traded for Smith the season before Tallon was “promoted” to president of hockey ops, or whatever the title was. Marchessault was brought in the off season after the front office changes.
Tallon did foul up the expansion draft, though. But this came after the new GM crew fired Gallant, and his replacement behind the bench, Tom Rowe, on more than one occasion publicly threw Smith under the bus following a loss. I wouldn’t be surprised if Smith told them all to kiss his ass after the season ended. I wouldn’t be surprised if the owners wanted Smith gone. Still can’t find a reason to give Marshy away with him, though.
FL won’t be hiring Chiarelli, unless he’s an Army veteran who attended West Point, of course.
