Benning was talking about filling needs by promotion of prospects the other day. If Hogz and OJ are ready, that will be a big boost to the stale ineffective 2nd PP unit. They can drop Alex Leadler off that unit. Entry level contracts much needed... let Stetch walk and promote OJ for sure.

I think the Tryamkin dream is over. Yes, the Canucks need a large bodied mobile D but even if he's brought in for the 6/7 position, will the spoiled brat trade big minutes and better salary in the KHL to be a bubble player in NA? I highly doubt it...

Edler was taken off the 2nd PP they had Myers as the 1D four F alignment. OJ had become a PK specialist on Comets. Hogs though would fill a 2nd PP spot plus Rathbone is said to be good there if he makes the team.

As for Tree he would make more in the NHL over KHL salary. WE can only guess as to his minutes. If you think he wasn't mishandled by playing AHL level D over him then he shouldn't have any problems on this newer more competitive team now.

ah yes nfl... that league thats super famous for having very few viewers toward the end of their season. no matter when the nhl restarts they will be in competition with 2 of the 3 other leagues at some point in their season.

never said nhl was dying just pointing out the other leagues are fierce competition and with fewer allowed in the stands those attendees will become viewers. anything the nhl tries will be matched by other leagues to hold onto their own viewers and sponsors. this isnt a golden opportunity imo sponsors will not be adding new sponsorships at the expense of employees

The other sport competition is not new. What's new is less content for viewership demand. If you believe there is less sponsor money for the networks then there will be no NHL.

I also think they sign TT and Tanev just based off their contributions this year. As far as fixing the blue line, I think they don't go after any free agents, but rather make a trade or try and improve from within with either juolevi/Rafferty.

I really hope leivo is re-signed. I think he makes our bottom 6 so much better than what we saw in the bubble.

I just read from an insider that they believe Benning has offered both 4 years deal . [email protected] Marky @5 and that is as high as he is willing to go .
