Ideally, one or two prospects on ELCs could insert themselves as new regulars every year imo. It will be nice when management won't feel the need to extend aging players like Edler and Tanev because their replacements will be ready

I think we are pretty close to that.

Don't know who the guy is, but my coworker told me that a guy from the athletic had the canucks in top 3 for organizational ranking (prospects, average age or core, etc). I dont have a sub to the athletic or know much about the article, but its nice to see the canucks get some recognition outside of the normal canucks media.

Canucks must have drained all the VGK mojo out of them they have been off all series. Guess the 2 back to backs also had them a step off enough for Stars to get the leg up on them and into their heads. The Stars used some of the same Canuck tactics too just didn't think they had the goal tending to pull it off.

Good on them for knocking out the Douchebags and Bowness was always a likable coach when with the Canucks.

It’s Pronmam, ranked all players 22 and under for each organization. Vancouver #3

This year’s organizational ranking will be different than previous years. First, it is occurring before the NHL Draft and not after, although I will make an updated version following the draft.

Second, this year’s version will have full evaluations with tool grades of all players in an organization who are 22 years old or younger as of Sept. 15, 2020, regardless of how many NHL games they’ve played, to go along with the rest of the players in the pipeline.

It will not include skaters older than 22 as of Sept. 15, 2020, who have played 25 NHL games in a season or 50 career games; goalies with 10 games in a season or 25 in a career; nor any player age 26 or older as of Sept. 15, 2020.

Corey Perry just got 100 000 bonus for reaching the finals . He can also receive another 150 000 if they win the cup. They are over 3 mil in bonuses. They have a similar cap as the Canucks.

“The Vancouver series, against Demko, probably rattled our confidence a bit in that area,” says Pete DeBoer of his club’s lack of finish in the Western Conference Final.

Good. He deserves it for dicking Fleury around.
