The deadline to update is today at 5pm ET

There are 95 players with a M-NTC in 2020

When was the last time Lafreniere or any of the first round picks played competitive hockey and when is the next time they will play again? It will probably be at least a year of lost development.

I don't have a problem of two years with unstocked shelves with such a young core and players ready to step in.

A draft pick would be nice but it is not the end of the world.IMO

There’s definitely the means to get picks back in the fold, just don’t trust Benning to get it done, it’s not something he’s been particularly good at in his time in Vancouver. He ALWAYS says he’d like to recoup picks, but never does.
