CBS has assigned their lower end broadcast teams for all Bills games so far.
Catalon/Lofton
Dedes/Archuleta twice
and now McCarthy/Feely - buffalofan19
No one gives a poop about the Jets, Dolphins, Raiders and Titans. When we play the Pats, Chiefs etc, guaranteed we get better broadcast. |

I heard something a while ago that the Joe Buck/Troy Aikman combo have never called a Bills game. I fully expect one of them to test positive for Covid between now and next Thursday.

Afraid the arb award will be too high then they are locked into a one year deal with him. - Pegullaville
Adding to what you said is what Brooks wrote below, although it is a bit different.
The problem would be if the ARB award was just below the number needed to hit in order to allow them the ability to walk away from it.
Overall, is Strome at 3C for just under $5M per a good idea? Many think Panarin carried him to his production last season.
"Arbitration eligibility is the major issue regarding Strome, the 27-year-old center who had a career year with 59 points (18-41) while meshing beautifully with Artemi Panarin on the club’s 1A/1B line. Those numbers would likely elevate Strome, who had a cap hit of $3.1 million last season, into the realm of the $4.75 million neighborhood.
hat would likely be too rich for the Rangers, even if they do have the space under the cap to accommodate it. Remember, too, that Strome is a season away from unrestricted free agency, so we’re probably talking about No. 16 becoming a trade-deadline rental property.
And yes, the Rangers would have walk-away rights, but only if the award is above $4,538,958. That could be close to the award if the arbiter goes low. It is unlikely the Blueshirts would extend a QO without being comfortable having the power to walk away from it." |

I'm up by 4 points in a PPR. Facing Julio Jones and Hayden Hurst. I have the option of Mahomes or Rodgers. Who do I go with? |

I'm so sick of Spero. It feels like we've had him every game for the past 5 years. He's not terrible, im just sick of him |

Could we get ertz for a 3rd?
How about Gronkowski?
Tampa keeps winning, so I doubt it.
TE seems like the only "week spot" on the Bill's. - Boss34
Well,
The D is nowhere near where it needs to be. They can't stop the run and are having difficulty penetrating to put pressure on the the QB for a couple weeks now.
Given that, I'd say the Defensive Line needs a ton of help to clog the middle ...eat-up space and take on multiple blockers...they need to find a guy to play like Ted Washington did. Star's absence has revealed he is better than the experts who watch in the stands or on TV gave him credit for last season. Furthermore, this weakness is affecting the LB's plzy by not keeping them "clean" and the D-backs who have to cover for longer.
This is the biggest weakness by far as it impacts say 50+ plays, rather than 3 or 4 by a TE...IMO of course.
Placekicker is very much less than adequate at this point. Not sure I'd cut him just yet, try coaching him up 1st, but missing several PAT's isnt a way to instill confidence.
O-line needs to come together better. Here's to hoping the lineup changes have positive results, I do have faith. |

No Devante Adams.
Aaron Jones was 2nd in the league in rushing coming into this week.
I expect a balanced attack here.
Rodgers will put up his numbers here but I give the edge to Mahomes |

3 turnovers if you count the 4th and 1 stop which is a turnover on downs.
I’d be happy if my team gave up 16 points and forced three turnovers before a late touchdown with under two minutes to go in a two score game.
Those turnovers, along with strong special teams play from Andre Roberts, provided the offence with many short fields to work with.
How often has the Bills offence had to drive 75+ this year ?
The only glaring issues I see currently are the field goal kicker and the punter whom can’t pin a team within their own 20 to save his life it appears. - Pegullaville
A turnover on downs is not a considered " a turnover"
110 yard fields maybe? |

It may not show up on the stat sheet as a turnover however I believe it holds merit.
If Oliver does not make that play the Raiders’ drive continues.
Also gives the Bills short field position that led to their ensuing touchdown.
It’s impossible to have a logical conversation with you though so I don’t even know why I bother.

I don't think they bother to continually drill this philosophy into the fanbase without actually using data.

It will be interesting to see who they pick as that will likely make it obvious if they are actually practicing the analytic driven approach.
Round 2 name to consider: Ozzy Wiesblatt |

Don't think there's a wrong answer here. Mahomes obviously better talent, but playing a much better defense. Rodgers still has it, but no Adams. Atl games have been shootouts, so prolly Rodgers for me, along with Billy B always seeming to mitigate the other teams best assets (which for me is his true genius) |

If the Rangers do not qualify Ryan Strome, do you go after him as a UFA? - kingcong39
I would not, and I liked the idea of Strome before they acquired Staal. To me, Cozens plays the type of game that will make him an ideal 2C to Jack...great skater, can pass andscore, good defensively...he just needs time to adjust to the NHL..2 years I'd say before ge is ready to step up into that role permanently.
To give him those 2 gears, I see the Sabres extending Staal for 1 additional year.
Therefore, IMO 2C has been adequately addressed.
Acquiring Strome now seems to be a redundant move in that context and since I don't see him being, nor want to pay his contract demand for a 3C.
Only way it makes sense is if they plan to use him as a 2RW. |

You interacted with me on page 14.
I was conversing with other posters.
So now you’re crying wolf because you baited me into an intellectual convo that you obviously cannot handle as you revert to using personal insults as a basis for a majority of your posts.
I understand teams can win in a variety of ways, that’s why I’ve been trying to argue that view point for the past two years while you have been saying it’s mandatory to have elite QB play and judge wins and losses solely on QB play.
It takes a team.
Teams can win with average QB play and it is proven year in and year out.
3 of the last remaining 4 teams in the NFL last year were all in the top echelon in the league in running the football and I would not argue that Tannehill and Goroppolo are in the elite of the QB world.
Mahomes ultimately won but it took a whole team effort. Statistically speaking he was having one of the worst games of his career but found a way to overcome it in the end.
