The Sabres have also been linked to Arizona Coyotes forward Nick Schmaltz, Boston Bruins winger Jake DeBrusk and Columbus Blue Jackets sniper Josh Anderson.

The NBA is completely different between the 90s as today. I don’t think stats are the way to compare players. Just like stats are skewed when comparing 80s and 90s players to 2000s players. You have to use more than just stats.

At the end of the day I think it comes down to age of the fan as to who they are going to pick. If you look at everything I think both sides have points. Maybe there isn’t a real goat in the nba? Maybe they are goat mates. It’s not like the nhl where everyone agrees it’s Gretzky

Can't they negotiate with two relatively big dogs at the same time? They know how much VO will get within a certain frame so his contract is not going to break their cap.

I’m fine with him moving picks apart from 8th OA.

I’d definitely have next years first in play.

If we are going to get trigger happy I’d rather overpay using next years pick as hopefully it’s later in the first round.
