Sanderson reminds me a lot of Mattias Ekholm.
I question is offensive upside but there is no denying he is that new breed of “stay at home” d-man that can drive transition and puck possession.
I’d be highly disappointed though if we passed up on some high ceiling forwards for him though - Pegullaville
Where is gerbe. He’s going to cry when we don’t draft a center |
Just listed to some draft ppl hyping up Holtz
They think he’s every bit the scorer that Laine is,
and could score 30 as a rookie
Also talked about how all his coaches & teammates in Sweden have praised him for years over how badly he wants to win
Could be a good pick for us
We could obviously use a RW that can score - IonSabres
They were also hyping up Sanderson
“Plays suffocating defense”
Could be a great partner for Dahlin
Or anchor a strong defensive pair - jdfitz77
He plays LD I believe, Drysdale plays RD |

Yeah, he's a good hockey player, but we really need help at RW and C - Buff36
Do we “really need” help at Center?

That is correct.
Sanderson is a left shot, Drysdale is a Right |

I like Jack Quinn, pure goal scorer but that's my opinion. I just read about him last night. |

Both D gone by 8 would be splendid for us. I like:
Raymond
Rossi
Holtz
Lundell
This is assuming Perfetti to the Wings. I guess Id have him over Holtz.

Sure
But that’s entirely different than “needing” one |

Yes I like Cozens, and think he's a perfect 2C for us. That's why I put RW first but can never have enough good Centers. |

I don’t know much about any of these prospects. I mostly go by what all you guys post. I know this is a deep draft and we need C/W help that can play sooner rather than later. That being said, thinking that Sanderson has the potential to eventually develop into a solid d man with his dads wheels is a dangerous mix. But it all depends on who is still on the board when we pick. I’m all for taking the best player available. |

I predict we get a call from Mtl to give us Anderson and 16 in exchange for 8. Just a hunch. |
