No kidding. I wonder if Him and Loui have the same agent - VANTEL
the worst part about this, is this COULD potentially set the bar for the UFA D-men market. |

Harman Dayal is saying TB GM Julien Brisebois is working the phones hard to move cap. He fears an OS for Sergachev. |

I can’t see Green signing off on both. By all accounts, Benning does give Green input on roster construction during the off-season
OJ probably, Rathbone no - Nucker101
True so both need to impress huge or likely only 1 makes it. |

If the Canucks have no cap space, how are they to sign any of their free agents or trade for OEL?
Let's be real. The Canucks have cap space.
Why it's not meaningless is that they can keep both goalies if the report is true. It may cost them Tanev or TT in the end, but that was likely they would lose 1 or 2 of the 3 anyways. - boonerbuck
I think it makes sense, especially given his history with the team. You just say to him we won't give you a NMC for the first year, but you can have one for every year after that. At the TDL, we will decide whether we are running with you or Demko long term and the other will be traded. |

Would love to see a Gaudette for Cirelle deal. Gaudette doesn't have arb rights so TB could negotiate with him pretty hard and keep the cap hit down. Canucks would love to have a legit high level 3 centre. Maybe throw them a pick to make it happen or not |

A rare moment of rational thought from twitter:
As #Canucks twitter gets angrier and angrier, ideal time to remind folks tomorrow is the 5-year anniversary of losing Frank Corrado on waivers - CoolerHeads

Oh it would take a lot more than that for Cirelli |

So many balls up in the air what direction do Canucks go...UFA/RFA/Trade/draft picks?
Dam intense time as one move makes two less likely and a 3rd one a surprise kind of time. |

Don Sweeney (Bruins GM) apparently open to offers for Jake DeBrusk, trying to bring in more draft picks
JD is an arbitration eligible RFA

Cirelli would let us walk from Toffoli much easier. I’m certain TB won’t move him & why Sergachev is a worry for TB. Wonder how that affects Cernak? |

Apparently TB wants to jettison some vets and keep all their RFAs. They're not looking to move them. |

I really don't think there is a long term discussion with Marky if he is to agree to be exposed for the expansion draft. He's most likely gone to Seattle then and talking NTC's after that is moot as a Canuck. A discount on his salary would only make him more appealing to Seattle as well.
It simply comes down to if he's willing to go to Seattle one year into his new contract or not otherwise he's not agreeing to being exposed.

If they could sign Markstrom to a 5x5 deal I’d move Demko in a heartbeat, after those playoffs he could get a high first |

NTC’s are a big hurdle for them. Only Johnson has agreed to a list & none are young. |

I don't see how they magically have so much space. they need to fill 1 forward spot and 3 defensemen spots. 14.4m in cap space. They also need 2 top 4 dmen to take 2 of those spots. |

They are up Schitts Creek can't even qualify their star RFAs and stuck with a bunch of old overpaid players. Let one of their best Dmen walk for free
