I think playing sheltered minutes on the third line to start is a good way to bring him into the NHL. Playing with Bo off the bat is playing against other team's top lines – which is a tough task when adjusting to the NHL rink.

I think Benning is dead set on a pick moving dman, either OEL or Barrie. He wants cap space for either option. We all know Jim empties the money clip when he's dead set on a specific type of player.

Bo is probably in the deepest shambles if TT walks, goes back to potentially having Pearson as his best winger with a revolving door at RW again instead of Boeser/Toffoli. I bet his oversized head will explode if he has to spend another game with LE on his line.

Benning basically showed his hand yesterday when he talked on local radio. He wants to add another high end puck moving dman. OEL, Barrie, etc.

You need to keep cap space open for that.
