Apparently the Fleury rumours might be incorrect. Vegas wants his entire cap gone in a 3 way trade, like how the Leafs helped with the Lehner to Vegas trade.

So:

Vegas trades Fleury + pick to Team A

Team A flips Fleury at 50% to Team B

Team B has to give up pick to Team B to get Fleury at 50%


- Vegas gives up pick(s) and gets cap relief
- Team B gets multiple picks but picks up 50% of Fleury’s cap
- Team C gives up a pick to receive Fleury at 50% cap

I would think the Leafs would be interested in acquiring him for a pick with 50% retained. I can't see the pick being that high, Vegas bearing the brunt of that deal.
