Of course you're trying to predict what they might become but based on 7 games (like in Scouching report) or you basing you judgement off Scouchings video ("he's a 6th rounder) is asinine - Plus, is Scouching a pro-scout? or some regular d$ckweed like the rest of us - who just so happens to have spare time on his hands to watch a lot of games and put videos up on YouTube. What I gathered from the clips and report was he has the raw tools and the holes/issues in his game are very much teachable, room for improvement.

Obviously the Canucks see some potential there.

Players drafted these days are much more developed and a player picked in the 3rd round shouldn't need basically every skill developed other than skating. When you read a scouting report and find more Cons than Pros pretty easily. To me that's not someone you take this high in the draft.

I know everybody remembers him wanting Petey first. To me it's kind of like who in the organization wanted him the most.

I had Petey as the best player in the draft in December that year. DCT wasn't even around that early in the season.
