Pretty good draft for the Canucks, I had Joni ranked in mid 2nd, so was happy and surprised, we got him in 3rd.
Zlodoyev and Persson were also on my hope we get list, as well, so I liked this draft.
It was pretty clear the Canucks aren't expecting to see an AHL season anytime soon and are resorting to drafting players that can develop elsewhere.

It works out well for the club, as they own the players rights longer and they can develop in different pro leagues, around the world.
Obviously not the 2 Americans though.
