He played well last year too in the SHL. either it's the NA rink/game he cant get used to or it's us. Either way it was something i guess had to be done. We also don't really know what was going on behind the scenes for him so i dont really hold any ill will toward him unless i hear something solid.

I hold no ill will towards Lias, I am just happy they were able to move him for something tangible. Lias Andersson represented a distraction that this young team simply doesn't need. He was a mistake, we cut bait, now we can all move forward. Sending him out west was a nice bonus so we don't have to see him much in the future.

All we could get a was a late 2nd rounder? Oooff, Gorton has been great, Lias was his one hiccup and it was a doozy, good thing that draft is a really bad for most
