I get that we all want centers, but to me this pick is a pick that fell into their laps and they were thrilled to be able to trade and get him. I think jimmy said he was 12th on their board? which is a homerun in their eyes I’m sure. RHD is a position you can afford to have an excess in imo. We’ve complained about not having players with an edge, this kid certainly does and if it’s true can’t help but like it more that we screwed the Devils, that’s always a plus

you can be annoyed with Brooks all you want, but the fact is that until Lundkvist is signed on the dotted line, this is a concern

not to mention, this organization isnt exactly a dream for Swedes right now

There seems to be something to this observation. But, the kid brings MOST of it on himself. He doesn't seem to be able to consistently make good decisions.

Don't know Vin, Grabner doesn't age. I think he would be perfect.

This isn't me saying I want Fast gone, I want to keep him, but if he walks I think Grabs would be a great addition

I left out that a lot of it is his fault. He built the foundation to his reputation. The refs are just doing what's expected now.

I think its a split decision. I remember a game last year he was laying on his back getting punched in the face and they gave him a penalty.
