A year ago this contract was a steal.... today not so sure.
Hoping for a JG for Dumba & a sweetener deal now.

I am ok with this. Glad we got him. Have not had stability in net since Kipper.

As I said on the other thread... we weren't getting him for less and any low-ball offer would likely have pushed him to the Oilers.
Term is tough but the deal is done and, yes we have a solid #1 for the next few. Gives Wolf time to develop and compete for the #1 spot in a couple of years. Anyone heard if there was a NMC?

My sincere wager is that Brodie re-signs here and it's $4.5 or less. If not, Flames move on and sign Vatanen or a Tanev/Buff type stop-gap.

I like it. Plenty of time to sort out a JG trade, Dumba would be a great target. I'd like it if we pursued Namestnikov, Duclair, or Craig Smith.

Yeah sad to see him go! We have some skill guys coming through the pipeline tho that need minutes. I believe he’s reached his peak as a professional hockey player. Next young buck in line as per most sports...🤷🏼‍♂️
