Fingers crossed. David Krejci hasn't had a real winger in like 7 years.

If this is true, I wonder what salary they will shed? Hall is going to make 8-9 million which would leave Boston with 5M to replace Krug and resign Debrusk...

I’m sure they can find a serviceable top 4 for that money. They don’t need a PP qb, just a solid d man. I really hope they get Hall. If they do they could run

Marchy Bergy Coyle
Hall Krejci Pasta
DeBrusk Stud Kase

Assuming stud can make the jump that’s a hell of a top 9

Pasta and Marchy have been two of the NHLs topscorers. Bergy was second for the Selke again. Rask was second for the Vezina. Big Mac is one of the better younger developing defenseman in the league.

They were also top five in the NHL in both offense and defense.

Without a couple big upgrades I don't think they are as good as the Tampas or Colorados or Caps and Pens or Blues.

But with a top six upgrade and a defensive upgrade (with size) I think they are easily in the conversations.

Tuukka Rask is mentioned as having been a finalist for the Vezina Trophy, which is awarded to the NHL's best goaltender. drive mad
