All fan basis are moronic. When teams are doing interviews for a new gm they don’t encourage “knowledgeable fans” to apply. - shack67
You know what’s moronic? Your inability to spell 5 letter words |

Good God. You are so stupid I fear I’m making fun of someone who has special needs. Maybe I should back off just in case |

The 89 year old played better in the playoffs.
Dobson takes Toews spot. Andy Greene is not the same type of defenseman as Toews. What part of either of those sentences do you not understand?
I know you’re just gonna try to insult my intelligence now. I’m married 14 years now, you’re gonna have to go really low to really insult me, just to warn you. - potvin05
Technically, I think Greene (assuming he's signed) will take Toews' spot and Dobson will take Boychuk's (assuming Boychuk is moved). No reason to have both playing their off side. Violins and cellos! |

So:
Pelech-Pulock
Leddy-Mayfield
Greene-Dobson
Aho
Hickey
This look like what we'll probably see as far as pairs and depth, if the moves we expect to happen actually do? Are there any cap savings if Hickey's in the AHL vs. NHL? I can never remember how this all works. If so, my guess is Aho would be with the team as the 7th and Hickey would be with Bport to be called up if needed. If there are no savings, I guess you probably reverse those two. |

I kinda, sorta think I’d rather have Aho as the 7th regardless. |

It's probably an uphill battle for him (although you never know considering they did just re-sign him). Lou/Trotz usually favor experience...but not always. The thing with Aho is, what does he really bring that Hickey doesn't that would give him the edge over Hickey's experience? If he was bigger and more physical, or an offensive dynamo, or something that gave him that extra element, then he'd probably have an advantage. If it's just general competence at the position in all three zones, my guess is he'll have to really stand out at camp. |

I assume there's a chance that Hickey is sent to BPT anyway, if they're still tight to the cap. If CapFriendly is correct, they'd save about $1M in cap space with Hickey down in the AHL. |

Under the radar move with Toews trade is the signing of center Czarnik to a 2 year deal. The second year of the deal is a one way contract and Cizikas is a free agent in 2022. Small guy but got some offensive skill and is a cheaper option. |

Great AHL depth with the outside chance he becomes a decent bottom six guy with the big club. He's over a PPG player in the AHL. He probably immediately becomes BPT's best player. |
