Dobson will be great. But I doubt that he will spend his career playing on the left side.

Pretty sure Lou Lamoriello is also in the group that isn't happy about the Toews trade.

I think he’s suggesting Dobson in the top six, not necessarily on the left. Having Pelech, Leddy and hopefully Greene on the left wouldn’t be a terrible way to start the season. Thought both Leddy and Greene has great playoffs And Greene was on his off side.

Played his off side in Jrs. Some guys spend their entire careers on their off side.

Recap??? what is there to recap??? Some depth signings...Lost some players...This team is no better than when the process first started. In my opinion there is still work to do if this team wants to come close to the success it has experienced. The Metro is tough.

Yea i wonder if we will even make the playoffs staying with the same team ? Who knows if we would have even made the playoffs last year weren't we out of playoffs when they ended season? I really thought they would add some speed and scoring still early maybe Lou got a plan

In Lake Placid w wife for the night. Always love the drive past ski jumps, then in village speed skating oval, 1980 and ‘32 arenas. I’m assuming you’ve been here when you played. If not your boy has played here? Something special about this place. Especially Herb Brooks arena.

Suffolk county royals

One of the better teams on the Island. At least from what I remember

I was a royal back in the day with Norm Ryder as coach. They/We were a MET league team back then. Pretty decent team.
Pat LaFontaine and Steve Webb as his assistant when he coached his son as a Royal for the Under 16 National Championship in 2012 I believe. Good program if many now on the Island.

Home of the Royals was the Islanders practice rink in the beginning. Superior Ice Rink. Gotta love the old rink!
