In my opinion we look like the doormats of the East once again. Unless Zito can pull off a deal and get a D-man and a little scoring it will be another long season. |

Vatenen is available, and maybe Athenasaou is ready to sign a $2M x 1yr prove-it deal, or maybe Granlund would work out? |

I still feel the moves made help give depth to and a more rounded lineup - at least that’s the hope |

Really like Athanasiou’s speed, but kind of reminds me of a Viktor Stalberg - great wheels but has trouble finishing.
That being said, would still probably take a chance on him with a prove-it deal like you said |

Time to get a new coach.
You thought he was going to be a treat...but that’s because he tricked you. |

Might as well be playing with a swiffer jet than a hockey stick.
Useless. |

From the time of trading away Barnes and Woolley through trading Roberto freaking Luongo and beyond, the Panthers succeeded only at growing apathy among their fanbase. The upheaval after the division win, leading to the lost season followed by the expansion draft renewed that apathy for many who started to come back around when Gallant was coach and Jagr was added to play on the wonder twins’ line. |

The Gallant firing...one of the worst moves they have ever made in my opinion, Rats! |

You boys got fleeced. I feel for ya. My devs are no contender either, but I was happy to see sizable returns for the guys we traded out. To simply watch them walk into free agency just isn't right. With the season they had, as GM, I would have traded Hoffman/Dadanov at the deadline regardless of making the playoffs. The team didn't show consistency, nor did they compete it appeared. Tons of talent, but if Coleman and Hall can land the Dev's 4 1st round picks as rentals, surely Hoffman and Dadanov could have been somewhere in that realm.
Maybe you can bring back Haula/Hoffman and recoup some of the scoring. Florida is way better for tax, and you can golf after practice. The clubs with cap space can't offer that. |

Tallon’s last gasp to remain gm was playoff success, he wasn’t going to trade them. |
