Is there any way Wentz can agree to redo/ restructure part of his contract to help facilitate a trade? That’s something I’m not sure of....but there is a lot of restructuring that happens. - landros 2
I dunno. (Not sure either). |

You’re the one who thinks defensemen can’t switch to forward unless they’re all-stars. You’re right, I am simple but I’m still outsmarting you. - SuperSchennBros
This is why you are simple, when comparing Morin you used burns and byfuglien, two all star level players . Where did I say it could not be done? I said you used two horrible examples because you are indeed a moron. |

Imagine a democrat doing this. They couldn’t even handle Obama wearing a tan suit.
This country is an absolute clown show. - hereticpride
The (frank)ing Commander in Chief is calling a official asking him to FIND a specific # of votes, which is damning in and of itself. He is then saying that the official could be guilty of a "criminal offence" if he doesn't.
I mean, my mind is officially blown. I have lived in 3 3rd world countries, 2 of which weren't even democracies, and this won't happen there.
Calling this 'politics' is like calling a man molesting his daughter 'sex.'

I think it’s great. Increases the likelihood of him getting dragged out by his fat orange ass. Oh this is amazing entertainment. Can’t wait for the finale! |

And then Wade Belak was used as a better example but you keep harping on the first example because you’re even dumber then I am.
I know it’s tough to keep up but at least try. |

It’s really unbelievable. The astounding thing is how many people he still has in his corner. Where do these people draw a line??? |

The thing is stop with the examples, the kid has such an uphill climb as it is, the change of position on top of that. There’s no chance he plays regardless of all of your fantasy comparisons. It’s not my fault you led with two horrible examples, that was your doing. Maybe get some rest and try and be better tomorrow. |

I don’t see it working out for Morin. You gotta roll 4 lines that can produce and I just don’t see him being a positive on any forward line, especially given this era of far less physical hockey.
10 years ago I’d say go for it. I just don’t see it working now. |

The kid does have an uphill battle but saying he won’t play is beyond ignorant based on the current state of sports....and oh yeah, the entire freakin planet world wide. If there is even the smallest sniff that one, two or three players, including the coaching staff has Covid. Guess what? Someone must replace these players while they quarantine.
What’s so hard to understand about this? |

I don’t get it. Are you guys confusing physical play with fighting? Yes, there is less fighting in hockey these days but hockey is still very much a physical sport. |

There comes a time when people are so angry, so beleaguered, so lost in their cause, that they have lost any sense of global morality.
They know it, which is why there is nothing more they want than it to be not publicly discussed.
I have seen it happen elsewhere with religious Islam. And Germans who are old and dont want to talk about the past. This sort of collective refusal to face facts.
Not in this country though.

It is crazy how many Trump flags that hang in front of homes still. It’s over. Where is this need to hang on? There isn’t even any type of consideration that maybe a new voice is what we need after four years of “Fake News”. “China Virus”. Building a wall to keep “those people out”. Riots, Me too movements and calling Rosie O’Donnell a Fat Cow. |

But you can’t go around and hit like you used to. There’s rarely any open ice hitting in comparison to even just 10 years ago. |

They're saying that you can't ONLY be a physical presence anymore. Even a 4th-line winger can't get away with being an offensive black hole, dishing grenades. Guys like Matt Martin and Ryan Reaves actually have baseline NHL-level skills.
The purely physical guys like Tanner Glass and Zac Rinaldo are a dying breed because they simply can't be counted on to play either side of the puck. And since they're only in the lineup to hit people (aka "bring energy"), they end up taking a crazy amount of penalties relative to icetime, and kill momentum as often as they generate it.
We don't even need to discuss pure goons (Belak, Boogaard, John Scott, etc)... they're extinct.
If you think Morin has Matt Martin upside, then fine. I personally don't see it, based on how he looked as a pro up to this point. |

Tom Wilson has skill, back to back 20 goal seasons. Let’s try someone else. |

Samuel Morin was drafted 11th overall of his draft class. When making the leap from junior to pro, he had two good first seasons with the phantoms. Now if you want to tell me he’s not an NHLer, that’s fine, he’s likely not because he hasn’t proven he is to this point. Most of it is due to injuries. With this said, claiming he can only be physical or comparing him to goons and enforcers, I don’t understand that. It just sounds like a stereotype because he’s tall and physical. I don’t see the John Scott comparisons. |

Just laying out the spectrum of physical role players... where Morin fits in is a matter of opinion. I personally feel like Morin tops out at the Glass/Rinaldo level. |
