They're saying that you can't ONLY be a physical presence anymore. Even a 4th-line winger can't get away with being an offensive black hole, dishing grenades. Guys like Matt Martin and Ryan Reaves actually have baseline NHL-level skills.
The purely physical guys like Tanner Glass and Zac Rinaldo are a dying breed because they simply can't be counted on to play either side of the puck. And since they're only in the lineup to hit people (aka "bring energy"), they end up taking a crazy amount of penalties relative to icetime, and kill momentum as often as they generate it.
We don't even need to discuss pure goons (Belak, Boogaard, John Scott, etc)... they're extinct.
If you think Morin has Matt Martin upside, then fine. I personally don't see it, based on how he looked as a pro up to this point. - Tomahawk
I can see it being possible. Morin should be able to be defensively responsible. The Flyers are also very deep at forward so he could be filling in on a line with Laughts and NAK, for example. He could be more productive than folks think.

Just laying out the spectrum of physical role players... where Morin fits in is a matter of opinion. I personally feel like Morin tops out at the Glass/Rinaldo level. - Tomahawk

It is crazy how many Trump flags that hang in front of homes still. It’s over. Where is this need to hang on? There isn’t even any type of consideration that maybe a new voice is what we need after four years of “Fake News”. “China Virus”. Building a wall to keep “those people out”. Riots, Me too movements and calling Rosie O’Donnell a Fat Cow. - SuperSchennBros
Calling Rosie that was great lol. Yes let’s vote for a political corporate owned hack who enriched his family off of Ukraine and China. |

I have a different page....on mine it’s not in top news stories but 2nd from top in the list underneath....48 minutes ago it says. Trump urged Georgia rep to “find” votes. - landros 2
Its not different. It's just been updated. That's why I took the screenshot then. Here is my screenshot now
That is so huge a story, that, given the fact that the audio was publicly available, should have gone to the headlines within 1 minute of it breaking and been story #1.
Moderation and equanimity and skepticism are virtues in general, for sure. A significant segment of the media is profit driven and manipulative. I also understand a lot of people just tune global news out, because it does not impact their life directly (or they think it doesn't).
But to paraphrase a famous saying, seeking persistent refuge in the values of moderation in the face of extensive evidence of extremism is a crime of cowardice. |

I’m just telling you what was on mine and when....not a big deal....it’s hardly news that Fox tries to limit anti Trump news and gives a slanted version or how CNN probably hasn’t said one positive thing about Trump in 4 years. This type of story though begrudgingly can’t be hidden by Fox.

I’m confused by this post.
Calling anyone a fat cow while using their platform is ignorance. It’s bullying. You’re supposed to be a fair leader of the free world. A business owner or a manager who calls an employee a fat cow, or something racist or Prejudice, that person could get in real trouble. By him saying it and you laughing at it truly shows the ugly side of America. |

My comments were general. Not meant for you or your post specifically.
But I categorically reject the equivalency you appear to suggesting. Of course CNN has made major moolah from anti-Trump coverage. Its been very profitable for them. Of course they are biased against Trump, as most of the establishment press is.
But there are degrees of bias that readers have to navigate in today's world. I do not recall CNN ever burying a story that is this much of a bombshell with such publicly available and easily verifiable information. |

Fox News would suggest the Hunter Biden story was treated just like that by CNN....by the way I don’t disagree with some of your assertions above. I am looking forward to some normalcy again.

The (frank)ing Commander in Chief is calling a official asking him to FIND a specific # of votes, which is damning in and of itself. He is then saying that the official could be guilty of a "criminal offence" if he doesn't.
I mean, my mind is officially blown. I have lived in 3 3rd world countries, 2 of which weren't even democracies, and this won't happen there.
Calling this 'politics' is like calling a man molesting his daughter 'sex.' - PT21
He isn't asking him to manufacture votes or to create fraudulent votes. Are you kidding me? What happened in this election is exactly what happens in 3rd world countries.

Are you kidding me! You are so clueless to the real world it's ridiculous. CNN buried everything that was detrimental to a democrat. Most recently the Hunter Biden story. They buried any facts and evidence that showed that it was actually the democrats and Clinton who collaborated with the Russians. And on and on! You are hysterical.

LMAO. What do you think the conversation was about? The context was a player like Morin being a deterrent. You can't even follow the conversation and you just showed you have no grasp of the conversation or the concept!
You lack any intelligence. There is no war. You tried feebly to take a shot and your comments are just degrading further and further into stupidity! Who do you think we were talking about as a deterrent? The coaches, the trainers?

Fox News can suggest whatever it likes. What are you insinuating by repeatedly bringing up such comparisons? That Morin and Panarin are similar because they both could play LW this season?
Hunter Biden:
The Hunter Biden story is still under investigation. Let it continue unfettered. Let the chips fall where they may. If Hunter is guilty, let him go to jail. If Joe is implicated, let him be impeached.
At this time however, it is fair to note that the reporters of the Wall Street Journal, owned by Murdoch, initially investigated and found a non-story:
https://www.wsj.com/artic...about-venture-11603421247
Likewise, the NY Post, a tabloid and also Murdoch owned, investigated and their reporters did not even want their name on the story.
In other words, the non-coverage was not confined to the so-called MSM. Even conservative news outlets did not consider, at least initially, that the story merited coverage.
This story:
There is no investigation necessary. The audio is publicly available. The President calls a Secretary of Elections, and asks him to "find" an exact # of votes. He suggests vaguely that the official is acting illegally, and that there could be criminal consequences if he continues to do so.
The two are not equivalent.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Trump did. He is correct about it. Whether you're a democrat or republican, love Trump or hate him. What happened in this past election is a direct attack on democracy. It is a fraudulent election.
As far as the Hunter Biden allegations. Tony Bobulinski, who was a business partner with Hunter Biden has all the evidence. Audio of phone calls. Documentation of emails generated by the Bidens. Did CNN or MSNBC cover that? Of course not. They completely buried it.
Did CNN or MSNBC issue corrections on everything they had wrong in the Russian collusion case? Of course not. They never will. |

Not my country or my president. Pointing out that the spin on both sides of the spectrum exist. I had a lot more faith in CNN when Obama was president....to me they lost some credibility as a news organization by going 24-7 negative on Trump....was some deserved ? Of course. Just observations. I don’t think this story reflects positively on Trump, but when it’s coming from a left media outlet it kinda loses its seriousness, when it’s just another Trump evil deed. Are both equivalent as far as seriousness ? At this point who knows. It depends who you ask and probably who they voted for.
