Yeah this is going to happen a lot this year...practices and games will be cancelled and/or rescheduled throughout the season.

I expect a frustrating year.

Did someone test positive? Were they showing symptoms or is this part of routine testing procedure? What test was used, PCR or rapid?

There are no longer flu cases. Somehow (at least here) influenza has been eradicated.

My buddy got tested (Alberta) and had the results later that evening... We don't pay for tests up here. Now there is a requirement that is you enter Canada you must produce a negative test. Good luck getting a test in Mexico or even some states unless you are paying a few $$.

Yes one silver lining to Covid is that the regular flu has been eradicated. Other diseases like emphysema, pneuomonia, heart disease, etc...have had their death rates decline dramatically. Its remarkable.

They should be the last on the the list. Healthy wealthy 20 yr olds can wait until all who need it get it first.

Except that silver lining has all of those deaths categorized as Covid deaths. Its how the stats are presented. The flu doesn't go away just like covid. Its a virus and will ALWAYS exist in some form.

So far only 1 Star tested positive......maybe a false positive, I've had relatives in CA and MI that had false positives, but I suspect that maybe the NHL has much better testing.

I'm curious what test that would be. As far as i know, its either the PCR test or rapid test and both have issues. If you are not showing any symptoms, i would be suspicious of a positive result.
