Also i believe they are doing temperature checks, maybe he or Adam have a fever, it could be a simple as that. - BetweenTheDots
If you have a fever, but test negative for the Chinese Flu, why would you have to quarantine? Negative is negative. |

Don't ask me, but it's what the nhl is asking players to do before they come to practices or games. I understand though why side on the side of caution |

Withholding a player from play because of a virus when he tests negative for that virus doesn't seem to be erring on the side of caution. It seems more like erring on the side of irrational fear. Especially since playing the game is more dangerous to him than the virus. |

So what about this so called Hockey Game tonight. Two teams that have taken a ride down the Brown line express to non contenders. But hey at least I was able to enjoy a hell of a run along with 3 Cups. |

And at least Nashville was able to enjoy....oh wait...that’s right they always came up short. And now their chance is gone. Losers. Wont stop their loser fans from trolling though. |

I'm not surprised they haven't stopped by yet. They usually don't when their team sucks ass. But at least they have Banner Raising Nights to comfort them. |

Reports showing that:
Carlsson in for Boqvist
Highmore in for DeBrincat
Subban gets the start
Mitchell takes Boqvist's spot on the PP
Also, DeBrincat and Boqvist expected to be out at least 2 weeks. |

So are you saying there’s nothing to fear but fear itself? Rumor has it that this is the longest anything from China has ever lasted. Now back to hockey, I’m going with Wallmark and Carlson playing tonight. |

No decision yet on who sits up front. Wallmark sat out the last game but can't see him out again. I'd keep Soderberg and Janmark in the lineup. Hagel, too.
My choice would be to scratch Kampf or Carpenter. Kampf has had his moments but a lot of his hard work seems to result in nothing so he's who I'd bench.
Kampf doesn't necessarily hurt the team but more good things seem to result from the industriousness of Highmore, Hagel, and Carpenter. |

That was from a bygone era, methinks, unfortunately.
I'm glad to see Mitchell get a chance on the power play. |

I agree on Kampf. Another reason to sit him is they know what he is; so play others to find out who they are, and go from there. This is a season of information gathering, imo. |

That is a good observation. Moreover, if Colliton doesn't sit Carpenter or Kampf tonight, they sit sooner or later exactly why you suggest fir Kampf.
On defense I really think it is a difficult decision between wanting to see how Beaudin and especially Kalynuk look. They are close to being ready for the challenge and therefore need this challenge.
I agree with Darth Kane that Kalynuk could be in tonight. He has not yet received a taste of NHL so temptation to put him in as the other two did get opportunity
Both Beaudun and Carlsson have looked good in their opportunity. Carlsson as you say is the more advanced ready and has a better balance at both ends of the ice. Yet if Colliton wants to alter pairings whereas Carlsson plays on his off side - which he has done previously fairly well - then Colliton may choose not to be flipping a kid back and forth from Rd to LD. Then he chooses at least maybe this game and next to use one of the other two
Compelling reasons whom to use for sure. |

And
Regarding Delia
Let us not forget how Colliton rode him in Icehogs lengthy playoff push a couple or so years ago.
Colliton knows Delia is better than he has shown this year. Sooner rather than later Delia will have to restore the faith....he needs to perform better because if he isn't better, Colliton has to stop giving him chance to shine |

Bernard added that Blackhawks management is viewing this AHL season as something akin to a four-month summer prospects camp.

@BenPopeCST
Mark Bernard says he reached out to Scott Darling, giving him an IceHogs PTO, because 2 of their 3 goalies are unfit to play right now.
"We're not sure where this is going to go. There were no promises made."
Ben Pope affirms that Tomkins and Aubrun are the ones unfit to play so Morris and Darling will be the active goalies in Rockford until further notice. |

Kampf is a 4th line center. I don't know what people expect from him but thru 6 games
CF% 58.4
FF% 60.8
+1.3 xGF
All this with 29% d-zone starts.
I say he is doing his job quite well to this point.

Do you think that the small amount of Dzone starts is attributable to their ability on the forecheck and their ability to clog up center ice? Or is the reason they don't get many dzone starts because of their inability to get the puck out of our own end? |
