What does Detroit moving Gagner's $850K cap hit to another team have to do with the Oilers clearing cap space? Unless you think Gagner still plays for the Oilers. Confusing.

Also, why exactly does Colorado need Kuemper? Grubauer and Francouz was one of the best duos in the NHL last year. During the playoffs, Grubauer went 5-0-1 with a 1.87 GAA and .922 SV%. Unfortunately he got hurt. Francouz came in and also got hurt. If they stayed healthy they likely would have won the Cup, or came very close. But you want them to acquire Kuemper, despite Colorado having $0 cap space. Okay.
