yeah, at the same time it's up to the players to wake up, I don't think this huge drop in their play is only due to a lack of chemistry or bad line combinations, they need to come back to the intensity they had in their play during the first 10 games of the season. even CJ last night confirmed the team was frustrated and needed to go back to basics

More to create a spark, to see if certain players can help others pick up their game a little... I'd try Anderson with Kotkaniemi and I'd bring Frolik in

If Frolik is the answer the question better be "how many players are injured?"

Or how much flatter can this roster get before you try something else?

they haven't scored but I would keep Suzuki with Anderson, I think it's only a matter of time before they find their mojo back. but hey, perhaps putting KK there would create the spark you're talking about, it's not impossible either

Who knows... and it's not like you can't reunite Suzuki and Anderson later on down the road! I think Kotkaniemi has more offense to give, maybe the Anderson work ethic can bring some of that out, with Tuna on the other side... have Suzuki center Gallagher and Toffoli? Whatever just fawking win!

I know Kotkaniemi idolizes Armia but I'd like to see Armia with Tatar and Danault and Kotkaniemi with Toffoli and Gallagher. Danault's crying about his wingers be damned

Talking bottom lines here, nobody is saying have Frolik center the 1st line, that's clearly Danault's job...

I don't think it really matters who plays with who. just work harder and better. they proved they can do it. all teams go through that kind of slump, no worries. tomorrow could be difficult again though.

the week off will be good. I still think Gallagher plays injured. surprised noone asked him about it, or I missed it.

For sure but there's enough leadership and depth on this team that the entire offense shouldnt come to a complete halt when the 2 young C are not putting up numbers.... and honestly, those two C have actually been playing decent, just nothing to show for it in recent games
