I think this is the first time in a while I'm at a loss about why they've been so poop the last while. They have a great team on paper but it's just not working lately. I think Julien needs to go back to the drawing board and figure something out because they're being kept to the perimeter and it seems rare for them to sustain any sort of cycle (outside of their own zone).

The Habs problem is sustained effort, they simply lack it. Put it this way: if the puck is in the corner, and both clubs have a player racing for it, both get there exactly same time, the opposing player continues 100% effort, Habs player instantly drops to 80%.... Another thing, Romanov has been drinking the 'let's be tentative' juice, and it is killing his skills.

the transition game has sucked....they aren't getting in the paint at all...except for Gally....Anderson has been a one man wrecking crew but its not enough...Allen stood on his head last night and they lost....bring Mete back..Kulak has to sit...if Romanoff doesn't improve he may need some AHL time...Chiarot has been abysmal...at least he didn't take the dumb penalties he took against the Leafs...
