Positivity is in the eye of the beholder...I still maintain this club is not as bad as their record suggests. I had them at 16-19 that is where I expect with this roster. If they finish bottom 10 it's on the players not Green or Benning overall.

Oh ya. They are playing very bad right now and a lot needs to be fixed but closing out games is the big thing. Some players are still learning...I get it. But there are enough Vets here to close out games regardless of the whining about contracts lol

So it's on everyone but the guy that acquires the players and the guy that coaches them? That seems contradictory to me. Either the players drafted (traded for, signed) are good enough or they aren't. Maybe they aren't being coached well enough, but to absolve the selection staff and the coaching staff for the players not being good enough 8 years in seems absurd. Especially when you consider their lack of success.

We'll see but this club has improved 3-4 spots in the standings under Benning in 5 successive years. I guess we measure success a bit different. My expectations are systematic. It requires patience. Boeser - Petey - Hughes - Demko - Hogs and others are players you build championships around not talk about trades right now. Sooner or later the bad contracts will fade and all will be well.
