You are okay with having Roussel? - Reubenkincade
meh.
Roussel and Beagle are TDL dumps next season.
Realistically so is JV.
don't see any teams lining up to take on those salary's.

Preaching to the converted.
They should sell, I'm just saying they don't need to trade Pearson to make room for Pod.
There is a top 6 slot available already.
Lotto line
Pearson-Bo-Pod
Gaudette-Sutter-Hog
Motte-Beagle-Roussel/ZacMac - dbot
They don't need to trade anyone, really. Can just pull a guy out of the lineup.
However, what's the point of not trading him? He's gonna walk as a UFA more than likely. |

They need to keep playing Jake with Bo, at least until he screws right up. Roussel is best to be buried in the minors next season.
I have liked Beagle, but he has lost a step this season. The new Manny Malhotra next year. |

By the time Podkolzin gets here and quarantined, I would hope that at least 1 of Pearson/Sutter have been moved.
More than likely Pearson, as Canucks centre depth is terrible.(No, Gaudette is not a centre) - Reubenkincade
Center depth sucks, but they also have Michaelis and Hawryluk that can hold down the end of the season while they evaluate what they have in them.
Trade Sutter. |

I think somewhere around March 20th, you will see some movement, including 1 or 2 guys from Utica brought up. |

Manny was like 60% of the dot tho.
i loved seeing him take the draw and then just sprint to the bench
Beagle is...just not.

I meant Beagle as a retired face-off specialist coach.😁 |

I was just listening to Hrudey and I have heard Freidman mention it also, that they expect quiet TDL and Free Agency.
Hrudey talked a bit about Sutter and other players and said teams are not overly active this year because of flat cap and quarantine. He mentioned look at Sam Bennett he has been on the block for a while now and no talk at all.
The big question seems to be around will a team make a move for Eichel and Skinner and what would it take?
I am not expecting much from Canucks as far as trading off Sutter or Pearson but who knows what will happen. |

Flat cap doesn't effect toooooo much on expiring contracts – most teams build up cushioning throughout the year with LTIR. The quarantine would be an issue between divisions.. but if the Canucks can start a bidding war between a couple Canadian teams (Sutter with Edmonton and Winnipeg, Pearson with Montreal and Toronto) I can see things getting pretty active. |

I almost expect Canucks to bring back Sutter for another year next year for around 1.5. for fourth line center and PK .
I think they will probably also will find a third line center.

What's happening to Beagle in that situation?
I think they're going to trade Sutter, then either bring in a younger/cheaper UFA for 3rd line or promote one of their guys, and let Beagle play out his contract on the 4th. |

Have you seen the free agent list for next year , not a lot there. Lowry will probably be re-signed by the Jets , Danault turned down 5 mil offer by Habs. They are the two big names and then Getzlaf is next.

We're actually looking at BC retirement properties. Mostly around Creston. Then again, we haven't budged since the pandemic hit and the province is down to around 30 active cases. No new cases 2/3 days. - golfingsince
Creston is nice. I grew up on Castlegar. Live at Christina Lake year round now and it's awesome |

I get that. You just said they're resign Sutter for 4th line and get a 3rd line center. Where's the 3rd line center coming from, and where does Beagle go? |

I don't think they have anyone in their system right now so a trade maybe? There are some free agents that can fill in but I would be careful.
Beagle can be the 13 th forward. Worst case scenario Sutter is back as third Beagle 4th.
It is a position( 3C) that I would try to fix fast

No Poker never really got into it my buddies are big into it however. A lot of it online.
Horse racing is great as I love watching it live and my Dad taught me how to handicap off the programs. Tough to find the long shots but when you do it can pay lol |
