That line has apparently been quite physical as well.
What a nice concept, having a physical element to a team.

I didn't think he was going to make it, I figured Lind would. Hope he keeps it up, he's only 22.

The important thing is, they are getting games in against similar talent-equal level talent amongst prospects of other teams.
I will not be surprised if the Canucks swap out some of the players on the taxi-squad with the Comets roster, around March 20th, when the Canucks have a 7 day break and before the TDL.

They are getting to play is the most important thing.

Lockwood looks like he is going to be another Motte

Rathbone is going to be a very good D .

Lind is Roussel type with better hands . Almost like a young Burrows

Woo looks and sounds like he will be a NHL banger Starting to get more involved and confident in the other end . Always solid in his own end.

Jasek is the leading scorer and had a very good year with the Comets last year. He fits in to whatever level he plays at.

Lind Gadjovich and Podkolzin added next year, if they are ready, would be a nice change, as all 3 add something this team sorely needs.

Gotta pay them 4-6 million if they're going to be bottom 6 players.

Did you not see Roussel punching JP a couple games ago?

That would mean another roster turnover next season in JB's 8th year (if he's still here).

I think all Canuck fans are tired of watching Loui and Roussel and Beagle. They don't have the speed to keep up.
Turnover, for a bottom feeder team, should mean progress.

4-6 million combined for most of bottom 6, yup.

Would you keep Gaudette and Jake next year?

If Green is still here, Jake needs to go asap, never been a fan of Gaudette, but he has shown some signs of improvement.
They need to get a new coach, find out how some of these players respond to a different system and make those calls in the off-season.
Jake can be bought out for fairly cheap and Gaudette doesn't have to be resigned.

I think it is a good idea to put Jake with Bo for a couple of games. If he gets going and you bring in a new coach then maybe you can live with him one more year and trade him next TDL when his cap hit is not an issue for teams.

How about they hold onto the 1st round picks for awhile, let's get this organization fully stocked with talent.
They just gave up last years 1st and 2nd, which causes a void in prospect talent.
This team and it's fans have to be patient.

- Reubenkincade

In a perfect world, I wouldn’t have traded any picks, nor would I be trading 1st, I’d be trading for 1st because I had so many ballzy prospects that I didn’t have enough space for them all.

Just saying if you were thinking of trying to acquire Icicle, a first round pick would certainly be a requirement, as would a good prospect and an NHL player, and hopefully some salary to balance.

Personally, I just want to ride it out, keep drafting, slow and steady. I’m good with being 3 years away.

New coach is a top priority IMO.

Don’t think Lind is that type at all, I watched him in junior a lot for the Rockets, he’s talented but has to get his head in the game. Have you seen him in shorts? I’ve seen chickens with bigger calfs.

Yup. Even a temporary change will do for now, someone who instills a more defensive style game.

He needs a snickers bar for sure.

He has good hands and he is an antagonist. Three to four times a game the other team is trying to punch him in the face.

So 4 years ago? No possible way he could have worked on strength and conditioning since then.

I imagine it's for showcasing, but you're right a different coach may get results out of JV. That's what ANA is banking on, glad that deals dead.

The picture I saw was from this summer, so yes he could of, maybe skipped the leg machine.
Sam Bennett can now do a pull-up, so there is hope.
