In a perfect world, I wouldn’t have traded any picks, nor would I be trading 1st, I’d be trading for 1st because I had so many ballzy prospects that I didn’t have enough space for them all.

Just saying if you were thinking of trying to acquire Icicle, a first round pick would certainly be a requirement, as would a good prospect and an NHL player, and hopefully some salary to balance.

Personally, I just want to ride it out, keep drafting, slow and steady. I’m good with being 3 years away.

It’s already priced in. Torq shareholders will receive whitecap shares. Can’t recall what the ratio is. Ive trimmed my Torq/ whitecap and bought Tamarack Valley. Great value.

Sutter to Jets makes a bit more sense though. They could take back Perreault and a 3rd. Not sure what Edmonton could offer as salary would have to come back from them as well.

Not sure I see a MTL deal happening. They've already spent a fair amount adding 5-7 players in the off season. Sutter's salary probably isn't what they want....hard to say
