somebody on twitter commented this morning that Pionk has 18 assists in Winnipeg, because that's what Rangers twitter does, everytime we lose, we check the stats of guys who left and then complain about it.

But if Adam Fox was in Winnipeg right now with those finishers, he'd probably have 30 assists at this point.

Yea it’s pretty ludicrous to compare. Pionk had a great stretch with the Rangers including a ridiculous highlight reel goal. Signs were there but he didn’t fit into the plans. It is what it is.

But I agree, Fox on another team is a top 5 scoring defenseman. It’s the same thing with Laf, if he’s on a stronger team he has 10+ assists right now, easy.

LOL Ahh no probably not but at least he was there banging away, goalie made some big saves. Thats the way it goes. However if perhaps Howden with his massive 0 thats right ZERO goals for the year gets less ice time for someone else, perhaps we might had tied the score.

Patience fellas. Even if they were playing better and winning a few more games, the playoffs would still be a long shot. It’s the toughest division in the sport where all 56 games are basically playoff games. The experience they’re gaining right now, playing these types of games, will be a blessing in disguise. I’d rather lose them now in this quirky season then a normal reg season and playoffs

Next year when all these kids are here, we’re fully healthy, no drama, etc the league better look out. The NY Rangers are coming, we’re going to be the most exciting team in the NHL and we will start contending.

This year we’ll get another tool for the toolbox and the talent will be infused again.
